Really.
If Iracious hates having his own station and reducing
the "generality" (or a "graal classic (failure) system"), corruption, abuse, and inorganization, then he can quit. I'm sure there's other people would like to be the Captain.
We used to have Captains back in 1.2... although they weren't setup in zip (and station) with this much power.
This allows for more tracking (as in, tracking the activities of the police), levels, and organized towns and such.
It's not to much of a "role-playing" fiasco as Iracious is liking to state it. That's just a tad bit of what it is.. though, it's more literal than "acting".
