What putnpc does is checks to see if you have the exact script on your computer. If you don't, it downloads it. That way, if you modify the NPC Code offline, it will redownload the npc code online. At least, that is what I think it does. Putnpc doesn't work on p2p servers. They use putnpc2 instead, in which the npc is coded already within the source NPC. That way, no text file downloading! |
