DirectX 9.0 was originally for Windows XP but there are so many other people in the world that will always stay on a Windows 98/Windows 95. There was a big debate on this because some other people in the Corporation thought that the software should be designed just for Windows XP so that people that owned a older version of windows would have to upgrade or buy a new computer to use it. This would also conflict with upcomming games that people would want to play if they couldnt upload a lower version of DirectX because the current one was too fast for it to run on. I have tons and tons more additional information that I shouldn't share to the public. I have had over 4 people send me a pm to send them DirectX 9.0 . For the last time, I AM NOT SENDING IT TO ANYONE.

shame on you. How can anybody fix a problem your having becouse of DX 9 if it's not even available to the public. *or developers even*
