Have your house catch on fire, Antago, and see if you aren't thankful. It takes guts to run into over 5 million tons of burning ashes and hot steel to save some lives, and explore and see who all is dead. They deserve alot of respect and glory. Same with the medical workers and Police. If it weren't for them, we'd be far behind in technology, and probably sick and ill/dead. *******.

b) You can respect them, sure... but don't give "glory".

I am terribly sorry, but the only "glory" I am willing to give will be to God.

Because Glory is for glorious beings; not for firemen who run into destructed buildings to save lives.
God is much more powerful, and I therefore give glory to "him" for being glorious; not for humanity.
I am terrible sorry, but I will not glorify firemen.
I said it once, and I'll say it again, "I'll respect, thank, and appreciate them. But I refuse to give 'glory' to them.." and yes, it has been an issue lately. However, apparently I am now an idiot jerk for suggesting something of a Christianly nature.
Get a life already Toran; you have already proved to us that you don't read messages thoroughly. Eres una idiota--comprendo!

a) There is a "huge" difference between respecting firemen, appreciating them, loving, and befriending them as opposed to giving glory to them -- as in, glorifying them.
If, by some reason, I am an ass for advising that you do "not" glorify them (I did not suggest anyone was glorifying them, I did not suggest I do not appreciate or thank them, I did not say I hated the signature, and I certainly did not say I dislike them. That would not only be stereotyping, but absolutely obsurd), then by all means, trade your glory for anyone you think is doing a righteous and humane deed.
