Microsoft Windows eXPerience comes preloaded with DirectX 8.1, which is the LATEST non-Beta version of DirectX available to the public.
It's possible to have XP run on a PII, but not the kind of system he is running; not with 64MB of RAM.
And yes, the 9x screen is available simply by switching to "Classic" mode.
Also, royce, due to the fact that you are running a build of XP which is almost 400 builds out of date, that could be causing you a problem. |
