Post Current Hopes & Aspirations for Sceleria

For the love of god, it's a tentative title. Bear with me, will you?

I've spent the past few days plotting out the first several class systems, revising the story, and creating the general layout of the proposed island. Since most people either didn't read, or didn't understand my original post, here's the exceptionally barebones story:

Sceleria is a happy little island south of Samurai (or Dustari, wherever there's more room) before the collision of the bomy moon. Bomy moon crashes, creates massive tidal waves that kill just about everyone. The end. See the original thread for a more detailed story.

On the agenda....

1. Get the damn name changed. That's the least of my worries, but appears to be the main concern of everyone else. -_-

2. Have Antago, Kyle, or Gonmon revise the story to have it correlate better with the "official" story.

3. Finish at least the first five class systems.

4. Begin actively garnering interest/recruiting.

5. Finally, begin work on the island itself.

First, I'll adress the multiple class systems. See, my ultimate goal (and the reason I bothered creating the kingdom in the first place) is to create a fully functioning, evolving kingdom. I want to be able to transition slowly, in an entirely roleplaying manner, to slowly rise from a decimated, ruined race of barbarians, to a powerful, sophisticated monarchy (or whatever the kingdom decides it wants to become). I want for people to be able to see the kingdom gradually reclaiming its former glory. Slowly, but steadily, becoming more advanced; more organized.

In short, I want a roleplaying kingdom to be just that --- a roleplaying kingdom. Am I aiming too high with my expectations? Possibly. But I honestly think that with enough time, effort, and interest, that this can be done. And done well. Only time shall tell. [/melodrama]
