The problem for me isn't usually staff who do "bad" and "corrupt" things. In fact, truly harmful violations are really few and far between.

The reason players tend to hate admins is not because the admins do bad things, as the players usually say, or because they are just vindictive against them, as the admins tend to say.

The reason is that administrators love to stress how much they "give" for graal and how "underappreciated" they are. Do they fail to realize there are almost no players who would decline their positions?

It's like this... If I entered a charity raffle for a car, and lots of other people entered and all wanted to win the car, and someone won, how would he be looked upon if he said "See how charitable I am? Why don't people admire how selfless I am to win this car?"

Seems admins don't realize that's exactly what they do. They should be saying "I am very LUCKY that I have been given the oppurtunity to do something that so many people are qualified to do. I will always do my best to do my job AS GOOD as they would have done it."

Of course arrogance is irritating. And arrogance comes from both sides, but the admins should take responsibility for being humble. Until they realize it, they will never get the "respect they deserve."
