People’s Obsession Over How Many Posts they Have
Post count means nothing at all. Plain and simple, it doesn’t give you more power, it doesn’t gain you more respect. N-O-T-H-I-N-G is what post count means, yet people spam like crazy to raise this post count, why? For a silly little avatar or a custom title, is it that important to get either one of those? Those two things right there are the reason I believe there is so much spamming now. Because people are trying to out-do each other in posts and post-per-day. Yes, this magical post count is what you very existence is based upon. “Oh look! The Top 15 Posters! I must spam with my mad skillz to be in there with the high poster people! I’ll be kewl then!” This is what I think goes on in a spammer’s mind. I have a little over 3,000 posts, do I deserve more respect because of that? Am I better then newer posters or people who don’t post a lot? If that is the case, then I should command more respect then Stefan or Unixmad or Galen; see how silly that kind of thinking is? I’ll repeat again, post count means absolutely nothing. It gains you nothings, besides a small picture under your name and/or a small bit of text under your name. People’s obsession almost wants me to try and get a mass prune of most topics and then get someone to do Update Counters.
The Attitude To New Players/Members on the Forums
The general attitude to a new player of Graal is to laugh at them, and how confused they might be. Not everyone does this, but enough people do to become a stereotype. The general new member to the forums is usually treated the same way, only because they ask a question that is a commonly ask questioned. Let’s say someone new to Newmain asked how they mined, a general amount of people would laugh at them, rather then answer their question. People without upgraded account read the forums and see this sort of things, so when they upgrade one of the first things they do is claim that they have been playing Graal for a very long time, thinking that this will immediately get them the utmost respect and people will not laugh or make fun of them. “Respect is earned, not given.” That is the way I like to think, playing Graal for a long time does not earn you my respect. Still, people believe that

Playing Graal Longer Then Others = More Respect. Better and far more intelligent then the newer player. And other such egotistical things.

Well, I’ll just come right out and say this. I started in version 2.1. In that sense I am an utter “newbie”, does your opinion of me change now? Hopefully not, but if it does that does nothing but sadden me. If people are judged by the version number they started in then I see no reason to continue coming to the forums, that’s just about flat out…I’d say versionism, but such a word does not exist, but hopefully you understand what I mean. This manner of thinking needs to be changed, because with so many people claiming they’ve been playing since the beginning, or back when Graal was Zelda Online, there are almost no new members.
Now I’ll end this with a summary of my suggestions and my suggested rules. Some I covered some I did not.
My suggestions:

I should be given access to the scripts, or Unixmad need sot go and fix the ModCP and the faulty PHP elsewhere in the scripts.
I should be given adminship on the forums
Vermain should be given adminship on the forums
Kamuii should be given super modship
A spam forums needs to be created, but post count doesn't rise when posting in it.
A help forums should be created to clear up some clutter of the General Graal Forum
The flaming needs to stop, or at least try to stop. No one is here just to get their ass chewed out by someone who thinks they're better then them because they started earlier.
Please people set an example, and show some respect for people.
Suggested rules:

Corruption Threads should be outlawed
If a person spams 5 times outside of the spam forum they are given a 1-week ban
If a person continues to spam after the ban they are banned until an admin decided to unban them.
Do not go off and insult/flame someone simply because they do not know the answer to a question.
The people who continuously flame others when asked to stop get a 1-week ban.
After the 1-week ban the person continues to flame they are banned until an admin decided to lift the ban.
If you post porn on the forums, or if you change an image you are hosting to porn then you will be banned forever from the forums. Actually, you'll be IP banned, forever.
Harassment of any kind will NOT be tolerated and will result in a ban.
