I don't see how it would ruin pking as much as it would benefit pking because you get to sell spirits to newbies for large ammounts of money just to go and kill them to take it away again. 
It's brilliant if you ask me.

I think what he meant by ruining PKing, was that players could save their items, and that PKers wont get profit from it -_-;;
