I don't see how it would ruin pking.. the "extra lives" don't save your life.. they just save your money and bombs/arrows.. pkers still get the kills.. players still get the deaths.. its just to help those that aren't too good at fighting protect the little money they have...
Like sometimes I have money on me and I'm not paying attention and then someone kills me and I lose some money.. I turn away for a moment and I'm dead..
I don't see how it would ruin pking as much as it would benefit pking because you get to sell spirits to newbies for large ammounts of money just to go and kill them to take it away again.
It's brilliant if you ask me.
