having a "manly" job is nothing. btw, to be a cashier where I work, you must be at least 18. It takes a lot to stand up to someone that could possibly get you fired for doing the right thing. I only have to support myself, so I don't have to worry too much about money except for insurance, gas, my monthly internet fee, and my college courses.
I work hard at my job, and get rewarded very little. It sucks getting a $6 incentive check when I have worked at least 850+ hours getting yelled at every now and then by our customers.
The stuff I have to put up with is very similar to what Stefan and unixmad have to deal with because people are ignorant and illogic in their thinking. Not only that, but they think they know everything and know how to solve problems that are probably out of their league.
