There is no wholly correct way to write things in english from Japanese, so it's juvenile to nitpick.
For example, sometimes disregarding spelling convention makes for more compelling proper nouns.
Nonetheless, convention makes it easier to convert tham back to Japanese. So using "baka" would be preferable to "baca" because we learn to write "ka" syllables in Japanese. In english "c" is sometimes soft and that can cause confusion. |
