Hrmm... I personally try to revolve with stuff around head19, since it goes with alot of outfits. Yet, it depends on what you are trying to convey:
-Peasant: body.png, try to stick with some light colors and not too wild

-Hero: Body2.png, dark colors

-Soldier: body4.png use one color using different shades for each part

-Knight: body11.png Try to make the cape and armor color go smoothly together. then make everything else look as if he represented a kingdom

-Adventurer: body5.png try to leave the sleeves orange and if you must, get some gloves to match the colors. the vest makes it look good (Especially brown)
