I don't think the HP system on Era is a huge deal. I have 106 HP and I feel like I can still be competitive

We don't have the luxury of thousands of players to match people of equal skill together for improved individual game-play experience.
The HP levels raise exponentially and are capped off, so the new guy should be able to catch up at some point.
