pics1 tileset

I probably posted this in the wrong spot but wasn't sure where to put it.
For a pics1 type tileset do you have to do manual scripting to pick up bushes and stuff?
The tileset is set as type 1, and the bush is in the same spot as noted on the graal bible site, but you can't pick it up on default movement... |
