The sole atrocity more hostile to the very senses is this mother****er.
Jak comes from another end of the spectrum. Jak and Daxter presented something new and unique. It was a refreshing romp through something original, and never before seen in that territory. It was not a blatant mirror of another consoles major players, as Crash was. It was not long overstuffed bandwagon. It was special. It was a gem. And it rapidly denerated into another run of the mill, grim 'n gritty shootan fest. Whatever demographic that franchise appeals to now is one that rots at the bottom of a gutter, accepting any barbaric and half polished idea that comes their way, as they've been so starved for any sort of stimulus that even the lowest common denominator would satisfy them.
Uncharted is still Uncharted.
