But you gotta work for the better item at the same time, not just hiding in a corner waiting to get a free good gun. So a mixture between time and work to be able to defeat the zombies.
Also, you can add it so you can damage other players in another mode, so it could be all for themselves, they can group up to overthrow enemies and zombies...
But of course these ideas may make the game longer and slower, but rather fun for those into simulation type events.
