I never really understood the concept of killstreaks. Why would you "reward" someone who is obviously on a roll and doesn't need the buff? Shouldn't the newer, less skilled players be the ones getting kill assistance? "Death streak" rewards always made more sense to me, in that regard. It seems more logical to me to reward higher skill with flair and gimmicks that they can see and show off, and the temporary stat bonuses to the people who actually need it to keep up (because they probably won't have cool things to show off in the first place).
I'm not criticizing the update, as I don't even play Era, and I'm talking about killstreak rewards in general, not just in regards to your update. Just wondering what the idea behind them was. |
