I think the reason I am so upset is because you are trying to please an audience that does not exist yet, n-pulse iphone community of the future. When I was more concerned with the current community. Since the majority of the community thusfar seems to be leaning twards PC. =/

If you really want n-pulse to stay pc then please come online and show your interest.
This will have to wait a few days though as im very busy rl atm with work and vacation plans, i will try n get it done asap though
If you like the idea then stick around for more info, if you dont thats fine. Have a nice day! See you on N-Pulse
It would have to have some playable content. For example, quests or some sort of story. Maybe a small spar (nems?). But it would be interesting to see how many players would show interest even on a SMALL world if you did have such things. I think if done correctly you would be surprised.

However, I believe Ducati stated before that the PC and iPhone server would be similar? Being the reason I was unsuitable to develop for pc while she did iPhone. So not sure why or how it would be a side project?

For instance, if you're going by 'where the players are', the solution is obvious. Keep in mind however that you would most likely have limited creative freedom as existing iPhone staff beneath Stefan tend to, have to make more profit orientated updates, and would be working with a higher amount of technical restrictions, mainly scripts would need to be optimised. So it could also be challenging to maintain a decent level of quality.

If your goal is to create a better version of the server which appeases players both old and new, PC would be more suitable. But ofcourse it's difficult to remain optimistic for a long enough period of time in an environment which is so stagnant and lacking in players. This however can be attributed to the negligent decisions and lack of support from above over all these years, while this does make it even more difficult than it should be, it's unlikely to change unless someone does step up to the plate.
That's about how I would look at it. I think you just said it a bit better then me.
