When casting time was broken so that all spells casted instantly when hotkeyed Mages were still unbalanced. When they had cast time fixed (which should have been done) they weren't given any buffs to match that.

I was the highest level Brigid priest for a few years, decided to go melee since it's really the only option that solves all problems of being a mage.
