Found the issue with this. Or sort of...
Ubuntu 11.10 doesn't use libgtksourceview1.0-0
You can't even install it using Ubuntu 11.10
You need to be on Ubuntu 10.04 to be able to actually install it. Then RC will be able to run. Otherwise you will get the error message in the first post.
(I like 10.04 better anyway
