I actually like Bigbears idea better;

though i would amend it a bit


A blue one with the shell on it. with a Gold Trim
A red one with the kabuto on it. With Black Trim
A black one with the skull and bones on it. With White/Silver Trim
A gold one with the sword on it. With Red Trim

Instead of them being kingdom items that non loyal members could sell because they suck at representing their kingdom and deserve a firm back handing across the face for selling kingdom items..... they should be applicable skins to your current cloak.

Which for Tig, would be a lot easier to do id imagine...
