hmm chat system...it would take nealy as much work as you think...
well actually in a way it would...but anyhow it would be easy to remake the toall system.
Oh, and for every server online which is online or soon to be online...you can use the following idea.
You know how admin messages or PMs are annoying, when playing a event or doing something? You need to stop and read them...
Well, on Murasamune, we will have the "Admin Toall System".
What it will do is when you have the tag "admin" you will be able to send "admin message"s to everyone...it will be done by every time you chat, a script will check if the beginning of the chat text has the word admin message....if so, it will set a server string name adminmessage, text;...when that server string doesnt = 0, the system NPC will display the text on the upper area of the screen...also there may be additional commands for the admin chat system, like level of urgency...green being a common message or event or something, yellow being a little situation of bug...red means something big, NPC server crash or hackers...or a huge bug
After the message is displayed for about 15 seconds most likely, the server string will be set to 0, and the text will no longer be displayed...
Hmm...either that, or I will make the NPC set a this.string name after the server string, then set the server string to 0, then everything could be time perfect for everyone....hehe it will take a little thinking to perfect...but it will be good and more people will actually read the admin messages and listen to them...because it wont interupt what they are doing.
If you like the idea, you are welcome to use it...just remember you need some basic knowledge in script to do it, lol.
