Graal's addiction stems from its inadequacy. People only get stuck on Graal because it's such an unpopular game that few people play. It's easy to get to the top, and once you're there, you don't want to leave because you forget it only took a couple minutes to get there.
Asking those people at the top to pay money drives them off. Hence why the only old GK or Zone players still on Graal are those with lifetime Classic.
