With Varia's new server status of Hosted, I'm looking for some developmental staff to help speed up progress. Currently I am the main/only active developer. So I'm looking for lats mostly. But if you seem good enough for the position you want and I could use you, I'll go ahead and hire you.
Varia is a questing/exploration server. I have currently 8 dungeons planned out on paper. Levels are in a rough sketch, so you won't be making levels blindly. I would also like people to send me ideas for sidequests or fun things to do.
- Lat Application
- 1 outside level
- 1 inside level
- Connected with a level warp/link
- Both levels must use layers
- Don't overcrowd your level with NPC's
- NO couches or other non-zelda like images
- I'd prefer you use Varia's tileset (varia_tiles8.png), but pics1.png is ok, no others.
- Gat Application
- 2 images
- Bigger than or equal to 32px by 32px
- demonstrate shading
- Use classic style
- Nat Application
- demonstrate use of:
- triggeraction(x,y,action,params);
- triggerserver(obj,action,params);
- triggerclient(obj,action,params);
- scheduleEvent(timer,action,params);
- A GUI control with catchevent()
- Gani Application
- Send 2 ganis longer than 0.5 secs with multiple frames
- Not hiring Sat, managers, co-owners, and all other non-developmental staff
