While I sympathise for the loss of something that has undoubtedly received alot of effort towards it having done a large part towards a set of Core Systems myself it does amaze me how servers that are at some point deemed "a matter of weeks away from Classic/Gold tab" never
quite make that jump up over the following months until they're abandoned

To anybody reading this and thinking "I'm going to make a server and it's going to be special", there is an unfathomable amount of work required for it to become a reality and that's even if you do have scripting prowess which ofcourse is very difficult to find.
From what I remember the last server to make the breakthrough to the Classic Tab which was Zodiac (over 4 years ago now) had been worked on for atleast 14 months possibly more until it did, even with Classic it's been about the same amount of time since we wiped and began rebuilding it, while still progressing it's by no means a guarantee it will make the breakthrough certainly any time soon.
