I have been using Microsoft ADPCM to encode my sound files for quite a while now, but it has surfaced recently that a few players on the server I work on (Era) are unable to hear the majority of the sounds which I save in this format.

These players are using the Mac client.

Has anybody else experienced this on their servers? What formats work for all of the playerbase while still keeping filesize reasonable?
