You can probably get them to waive the connection fee if you agree to a 12 month contract.
And then when you move just pay for the reconnection fee at your new house.
Unless you're in an area with only one ISP then they will go to fairly great lengths to retain you as a customer. Every time my contract runs out I ask what they can do for me. Sometimes I get a bump up to the next data plan for free (120GB/month instead of 80GB/month), 3 months free (essentially the same as a 25% discount), or a free new wireless modem/router. |
