Do I sense Dreamweaver bashing? It's actually pretty great -- great enough to be voted the best WYSIWYG editor on Lifehacker. Plus their automatic tag closing is a huge time-saver. Live View is great, as well.
If you must use a Notepad replacement, at least go with Notepad++.
