Not sure, never played Mario on the DS, I still have an old Super Nintendo that I play NSMB on every once in a while.
The only errors I see now is:
-Sliding (already mentioned)
-Turtles come back to life when they're still in motion after being hit, you can notice it when towards the end of the video when it's going though all of those blocks.
