I don't see why mages haven't begun to use ogma bows before resorting to magic. You need to slow warriors down before they slow you right? So use an ogma bow and poison them first. It may not guarantee victory, but it's a worthwhile tactic. I know this doesn't relate to food, i'm just saying.
The most i've seen non-bile players eat while we're sparring is three pizza's back when i had a fight with nate that lasted very long.
