I simply meant (and I believe I stated) that on a
personal level I'd rather just have solely an ignore option. That doesn't mean of course that I am necessarily correct in assuming that should somehow be the global standard, because as you said people have varying degrees of feelings regarding the matter in general. I also never drew the conclusion that a swear filter meant disregarding an ignore feature, it just wasn't really stated beforehand. In the future, I'd suggest that you ASSuming facts not in evidence can occasionally be a bad thing, and if for some reason one of my posts inferred that I was ASSuming to some extent as well then I will apologize for doing so and take this opportunity to clarify. I'd encourage you to do the same.
