I am really annoyed by this because my distribution does not appear to provide cross-architecture binary packages except for a few special cases like gtk (without gtksourceview). I have been using an older, pre-syntax-highlighting version of the rc for a while, but I am not sure how to go about getting a current RC version to run since the compat binary just segfaults without comment.
