I'd prefer if when I clicked on the base I'd warp there instead of walking into the portal still and pretty much setting my spawn there forever and changing it when we lose the base.

Portal = Home Base, regardless if it's being attacked (I enjoy a bunch of lamers coming after me, because I'm not new and could care less whether or not I die and find it rather annoying when I have to run all the way back to home HQ to molest lamers and save the Hq.

Although it wouldn't fix the laming if nubs don't know how choosing a base works, which I didn't even know until I read this.
