As far as I'm concerned, the server could be completely restored within a few days/weeks if the NPC-server is taken down.

Also, do note that one of the advantages of the old server was that a large amount of the content was contributed by regular players (as in not by LATs), which added some kind of unique personal touch. This cannot be achieved again if the server is hidden from the players.

I'm stuck in the past because I prefer the old content over the new crap? Do you resort to insults because you lack valid arguments against my solution?

Plenty of players still like playing their favourite old games, which are considered technologically inferior.
The old content would probably attract plenty of new players as well, as it would differentiate the server from the rest of the "modern" playerworlds.

You: classic before = many players. Solution = bring back the same classic.

Sorry but that wont happen since none of your arguments holds. All you say is how great it was, and having a solution that involves taking down the NPC-server. If you put your energy helping to manage the development into the mix of old and new content you might be able to help instead of wishing the NPC server were gone. You can't say something will suck if you havn't seen it. Fact is if they manage to release some form of classic, you'll most likely hate it. So why not be a part of the development and do something that actually changes stuff instead of *****ing the impossible trying to get your childhood memories back.

I guess everyone is free to contact Thor if they want to help.
