Weaponmagic is just raw, un-reduced damage. That's all. If you're having trouble hitting someone with an attack type, either switch weapons or enchant your weapon so that you can attack with both types.
So stop spamming bullet storm and figure out what he's weak to. If he has 28 magic resist and you're doing nothing but shooting 'magic' type spells at him, what do you think they're going to do? Also, it should come as no surprise that your bullets aren't getting past his magic resist, because bullets are generally weak anyway.

Resist magic does not mean you are resistant to all forms of magic.
It only lowers the damage of spells with the 'magic' subtype. (Large Bullet, Manaball, Mana Blast, etc.) It doesn't apply to other types like cold, fire, electricity, and all the others. And if you don't believe me, I run around with roughly 75-80 magic resist all the time, and I can still get hit by those types of spells.

First of all, I know how magic resist works, also I would like to see you kill me with my 30 magic resist i currently have in an actual fight along with my resist. Another thing is even if they do have a low resist to something if it's not icestorm or magic good luck hitting them with it and half the time when people see icestorm they just run away and run back. Also btw most of the other attack types are resisted by basic armor everyone has.
Gale = lightning resist
demon stone or pmop= fire resist
bda = cold resist
