How about you argue unbiasly? The fact is, all resists need to be fixed, that includes gods and the clear problems with magic.

Magic is flawed in that your actual magic level doesn't influence anything, except you get more sp, but in turn, your spells cost more mp... so in reality you don't... actually... get... better... Also yea, resist scrolls are there to be used, which wouldn't be a case if magic level affected damage, since then, if you weren't hurting a row user who's scrolled up and using egg rod, it's because you're too low level. But then, what are RoW users supposed to do? Especially against mage teams that have become a trend within Samurai. I'm sorry but you can't expect a player to not prepare himself as best he can for a conflict. That excludes rest scrolls unless their passive and being lamed.

That being said, magic is just ONE area that needs to be fixed. And it's not really the most important area to be fair, the mage population is low and the problems with magic aren't as such that mages can't function.

I think there are bigger problems to be met with Gods and balancing them, with the broken/unused resistances, which, if all were working properly would make GK a very interesting server for pvp with so many things to watch out for even from a warrior.
Also poison is more pressing, since the majority of the server is affected by poison and it's obvious 'lame' element.

Feel your argument is pretty bias since you're a mage and only see the problems which you face, hence the suggestion of resisting weapon magic... resists for magic are fine, a warrior can only get 16-20 magic resist w/o sacrificing key components of being a warrior, that's pretty low, the problem is that magic level doesn't affect damage or any part of being a mage really. But then there's the problem that warriors don't have any other choice but to wear RoWs which put them at -44magic resist... That's ridiculously low considering Mage rings have no real drawbacks when it comes to resists... More variety and new rings for warriors so would solve this problem.
