Ok, look.

Whether or not brining back the old levels is the best thing to do for classic or not (granted they are in all likely hood better than anything classic has now,) from what I've read it is statistically highly unlikely that the npc server will come down. I don't know about you, but I'm a person that plays the odds, and odds are that isn't going to happen.

Since that isn't going to happen in all likelyhood, we need to look at our other options. The most logical and realistic option is to cut the server down to a manageable size and build from there. I don't think this project will take till 2010 if we do it correctly. The issue is finding the direction for the server within the next few weeks, then moving towards it.

Stop arguing that "it's up to stefan" or that "all you want is your nostalgic classic back"; this kind of back and forth bickering is not going to bring classic back any faster.
