Umm what? I'm in 8th grade and that is high school. (Private School) The finals are a big deal. It can make or brake your grade.
Those marks stay with you, fail those and they might put you in "core math" (which can get you into no university if they see any record at all of you being in "stupid math")
They are very important even though we aren't in grade 12.
