Ya, it does eliminate people. If you don't get into a qualifier, you can't get into the tournament. Thus you are eliminated.

Why shouldn't they be allowed as many chances as they earn? You reap what you sow, yes? Why can't summon keep sparring if they pm first? It's not their fault everyone else is slow. Say you do win out and everyone only has 2 chances. What then? Are people too scared to join matches without knowing who they'll face? If the playercount is too low, are we eliminating people to the point that we won't get 16? Have you even thought of the consequences of your idea being implemented? But since it won't happen, lets look at reality: if everyone has only 2 chances, how is that any different than everyone having 8 chances? If everyone has the same number of chances, it is FAIR. 1, 2, 4, 8, 20; it doesn't matter. If everyone has the same number of chances, does it matter what the number is? No!

Good thinking mystic. Wait, no, not really. If "a pool/qualification should eliminate you by the first time you lost", then you're essentially adding another single elimination round to the tournament. We'd need 32 people for that. And we'd probably need to have a qualifier anyways IF we could get that many people. So yeah, not good thinking. Maybe you should do some research on how single elimination tournaments work.

Everyone has 8 chances with the summon spars. Is that too many? Do you want 1 summon spar? None? The point was that we used to have NO summon spars at all, thus making it completely unfair for people new to the server. With 8 summon spars, it is completely fair. You can read, can't you?

E: Russia was far from a super power before Stalin took power. It had just gone through several revolutions and needed to be organized. Lenin was doing some good things before his death, but Stalin really pushed the country forward. Massive industrialization projects. Ever read about the 5 year plans? Yeah, that was Stalin. And russia didn't become a world super power until after ww2. So yeah, there goes your theory. Oh and btw, russia had never been a world super power before then. So your "superpower without" stalin theory doesn't hold up. And no, communism isn't bad. Have you ever read Marx's theories? They make sense. Conflict/unrest stems from a group of people having power and the rest of the people wanting it. Makes sense. So why should people lose money they've earned? For the good of mother russia, comrade. If everyone has the same amount of power (in theory obviously since the government has to have power) then everyone is the same and thus they can't be hatin on the rich bastards.
