Apparently you are stuck with the notion that only one person had 4 chances. Let me correct you. Everyone had a minimum of 8 chances to get in. You can't argue that.

Idk man, how many tournaments have you been in? I've been involved in a few (football). Do you know how many chances teams get to qualify in high school? Ten. Every single team gets the same number of games, and therefor has an equal number of chances.

Ever watch college basketball? How many chances do teams get to qualify for their conference tournaments? Oh guess what. The same number.

Ever watch pro football? How many chances to teams get to qualify for the playoffs? Hmmm...the same number!

I think I see a pattern. If every team (or person) has the same number of chances to qualify...then its fair! GO ****ING FIGURE. No one complains about it "not being fair" for the NFL or college basketball. Why? Cause every team has the same amount of chances to get in. What they do with those chances is completely up to them.

Do you get it yet? Same number of chances for everyone = fair. If people don't take advantage of their chances, for whatever reason, they don't get in. If teams don't take advantage of their chances during their schedule, they don't get in. Pretty simple. Pretty logical. So why don't you get it?
