Don't judge a book by its cover. A name really means nothing. It's whats behind the name that truly makes the name.
Now, advertising avoids this with catchy names or seemingly 'important' names, such as Burger King or Toys'R'Us. But unless you call a server "1337-land" (vast exaggeration), most people aren't going to be fooled by a name. Even if they are, if they find that the stuff behind the name is not up to par, they won't stay long.
Just because a book's title is "The Best Book Ever", doesn't mean it is, unless the content inside proves it.
It's called classic because it shows the roots of the game, and thus pays homage to the past. |
