Editing the rights of (npcserver)

A server option could be added that would allow the Control-NPC (and only the control-NPC) to edit the folder rights of (npcserver), and no one else. Obviously the function would have to be accessible only from within the Control-NPC.

This would be nice for several things, but a prime use could be backing things up.

Example 1:
Create a script that adds rights for the NPC-server to view the script files, loops through them, and then saves them into a folder which a staff member could access if backups were needed. The NPC-server could then remove the rights from itself so that no one could view these scripts via loadlines/loadvars.

Example 2:
An automatic signup form could be added to the testbed server. Players only need to fill it out, and the NPC-server adds itself rights to the accounts folder long enough to add in their IP, rights, etc. Obviously there are some glitches in this, such as filling out server options. It might be more plausible if it was used to simply change IPs when they were needed.
