That's because you've never used Medic class in that manner. You choose commando class and go lame HQs.

It's a huge difference; I really don't see why it's so difficult to understand.

Wrong. You need speed, not just skill.
A fast class like Light Infantry, Commando, or Scout could dodge all your chaingun bullets, cripple your hp easily from a distance and then move in for the kill.
