The geometry is boring. Very little will you actually find a blade on a sword that merges with 45 degree angles. Then you have the coloring -- it's plain. You took a very novice approach where you color from one side to the other. Blades are pretty flat, but most of the time it's segmented down the middle, which means one side will catch more like than the other. You also have the option of being more creative with the blade design, and collapsing a segment in the blade, similar to the Master Sword.

It's been said, but the handle is not proportional to the blade. Remember, handles are usually crafted to have room for two hands.
