Pssh, I doubt it has anything to do with being a veteran. When I first started Era and majority of the buildings and zones were PK, I was killed all the time. How do you think I got better? By running away and b*tching to staff about how I have no where to run? NO, I eventually fought back. How else do you expect players to get better at the game? I actually enjoyed the fact that I'd always have to keep an eye out when ever I'm working for money. That whole thrill streak is what made me enjoy Era back in the day.
Now a days you can't go 5 ft without having some area or building of protection. Seriously, stop babying the newbies.
