MacBooks shouldn't have any problems running it (as far as old goes) since they're all "new".
There doesn't seem to be a fix, only thing I can suggest is making sure it's out of the disk image, and if that doesn't work, using Parallels/Fusion/Boot Camp to run Windows. |
