A lot of people seem to have this issue.

Close Graal.

Go to your Graal folder. Locate game_config.txt.

Open it in wordpad/textpad/whatever.

Change this line
tryloadsoundson64bit=false
to
tryloadsoundson64bit=true

Save.

Open Graal again.

Worked for me on Vista 64 Ultimate.
