I actually read most of the forum threads. We have some plans but just presenting parts of them on the forums doesn't make sense because they usually get argued to death. The state of the server is currently not simple because it's too complex to be managed by players, it's too complex to add new interesting stuff without messing up existing things. There needs to be some change to that before we can seriously improve things.
