To go along with such a feature I was thinking of having a customizeable options tab in the client menu (F3). It would be similar to the profile fields where the options and their input type would be defined in the server options and then scripts could read this options and adjust accordingly.

That way a custom field could be added for enabling a word filter and even entering the words you wish to filter.

Edit: I believe the filter should be disabled by default.

Edit2: Why is "homo" included in the file example in the Word Filter page of the Wiki? Sounds like bias.
